CUBE is entering a new chapter in the professional peloton: starting from the 2026 season, the German brand will become the official bike sponsor of French UCI ProTeam TotalEnergies. This exciting partnership brings together innovation, performance, and a shared focus on developing future cycling talent.
The move follows the conclusion of CUBE’s long-standing partnership with Intermarché-Wanty. Founder and owner Marcus Pürner reflects on the transition:
“Following the end of our long-standing partnership with Intermarché-Wanty, we are excited to open a new sporting chapter. We are very proud to continue working with a high-level professional cycling team. The riders’ feedback directly influences the development of our products.”
A team with deep roots in French cycling
Founded in 2000 by Jean-René Bernaudeau and based in Les Essarts, Team TotalEnergies Pro Cycling has a strong heritage in the Vendée region, a true heartland of French cycling. Closely connected to the Vendée U Pays-de-la-Loire development squad, the team has long been a launchpad for emerging talent within France.
Recent results in the Tour de France, including a 10th place overall finish in 2025 and a stage victory in 2024, highlight the team’s ambition and steady progress on the world stage.
From 2026, all squads from the UCI ProTeam to the U19 and U23 development teams will ride the latest CUBE race bikes, supported by the technical expertise of the Pôle Performance centre in Le Manoir.
Racing for today, building for tomorrow
This partnership is about more than just equipment. It reflects a joint commitment to sporting excellence, long-term development, and pushing the boundaries of performance through innovation. Team Manager Jean-René Bernaudeau explains:
“CUBE brings us the precision and innovation of German engineering and ten years of experience supporting a professional team. Together, we want to continue writing the story of real, human cycling and to perform at the highest level in the world’s greatest races.”
By combining technical expertise, proven race experience, and a clear vision for the future, CUBE and Team TotalEnergies are set to make an impact on and off the road.
