No compromises, no restrictions. From front to rear, the Aerium C:68X is built to win. Developed in collaboration with our triathletes, this triathlon bike is the most aerodynamic in the business. But it’s not just its ability to cut through the air that’s at the highest level; comfort, including storage space for food and water, is also at the highest level. And as race results prove, this bike is seriously fast.
The biggest obstacle to going faster isn't you, it's air. Which is why, for the Aerium C:68X SLT Aero, we took a close look at our medal-winning race bike and fitted it with components that are to air what a hot knife is to butter. Profile Design ASC Pro extensions combined with our CUBE cockpit help put you in the most efficient aero tuck possible, and the Hammerhead Karoo 3 head unit keeps you on top of everything you need to know. Meanwhile, the Newmen Streem Aero/Disc TT80/Disc Vonoa wheelset – clad with Schwalbe Pro One Aero tyres – features a carbon disc rear to complement the deep-section front wheel. Sram Red AXS brakes have the power to slow you quicker, so you can maintain your speed for longer. Put it all together, and it means that more of your output will go into forward propulsion, transferred to the road via Sram's Red AXS 1x12 gears with a CeramicSpeed waxed Red chain and a Sram Red crank with built-in power meter. It's quick. You will be, too.Frame descriptionDeveloped in close collaboration with CUBE athlete and World Champion Lucy Charles-Barclay, the Aerium C:68X can rightly claim its title as the fastest frame we've ever made. Every detail, from the aero fork design, disc brake integration and in-frame hydration and storage systems, has been designed with zero compromise, tested in the wind tunnel and then tested again under pressure, in race conditions. That's why, for example, we fitted a high rise bar for the medium and large sizes – because seemingly small touches make a difference. Lucy has full confidence in the frame and its configurable storage and hydration, and now you can, too.
Racing is all in the preparation, which is why we sweated the detail for the Aerium C:68X Pro. Gearing you can rely on, courtesy of Sram's Rival AXS 2x12 drivetrain and a crank with a power meter, so you can keep an eye on your performance. Matching Sram Rival AXS hydraulic disc brakes – because the faster you can slow down, the faster you can ride. A Newmen Advanced A.50 SJ wheelset shod with Schwalbe Pro One Aero tyres, to keep you glued to the road. And, of course, the coup de grace – a race-proven C:68X® carbon frame optimised for aero and equipped with configurable storage and hydration options. As for the pedalling? That's up to you...Frame descriptionDeveloped in close collaboration with CUBE athlete and World Champion Lucy Charles-Barclay, the Aerium C:68X can rightly claim its title as the fastest frame we've ever made. World Champion Lucy Charles-Barclay had a lot of input into the development of the Aerium C:68X SLT. Partly as a result of this, the frame's premium C:68X® carbon construction incorporates flexible and adaptable hydration and storage options, including the ability to add up to two hydration systems for longer races. The CUBE cockpit puts everything you need at your fingertips, thanks to a wide range of adjustment. A Newmen Streem Aero 80/80 Vonoa wheelset – shod with Continental's Grand Prix 5000 TT tyres – is the perfect aero match for our wind tunnel-tested frame, giving you extra watts to translate into faster forward progress. And Shimano's inimitable Dura-Ace Di2 groupset – with 2x12 gearing, 4iiii power meter and hydraulic disc brakes – delivers precise shifts and controlled braking at race pace. Should you wish to revert to 1x gearing without a front derailleur, there's even a cover for the mounting area to preserve the frame's aero performance.Frame descriptionDeveloped in close collaboration with CUBE athlete and World Champion Lucy Charles-Barclay, the Aerium C:68X can rightly claim its title as the fastest frame we've ever made. You could pedal harder, or you could just pedal smarter. With its wind tunnel and race-proven aero design and premium C:68X® carbon build, the Aerium C:68X Race has the pedigree to get you over the line, faster. Configurable storage and hydration options make it simple to keep yourself fed and hydrated, even on the longest stages. Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 with a 4iiii power meter-equipped Ultegra chainset and derailleurs put the right ratio literally at your fingertips, whilst matching Dura-Ace Di2 hydraulic disc brakes mean you can brake later and harder, maintaining your speed for longer. And Newmen Streem Aero/Sprint TT 60/80 wheels shod with Continental Grand Prix 5000 TT tyres get your power to the road. It's got everything that you need – the rest is up to you.Frame descriptionDeveloped in close collaboration with CUBE athlete and World Champion Lucy Charles-Barclay, the Aerium C:68X can rightly claim its title as the fastest frame we've ever made. The Aerium C:68X SLX is closely based on triathlete Lucy Charles-Barclay's World Championship-winning bike – so you know it's fast. Configurable hydration and storage options sit behind aero hatches, adding the ability to run up to two hydration systems. We fitted a Newmen Streem Aero/Sprint TT 60/80 Vonoa wheelset shod with Continental Grand Prix 5000 TT tyres for rapid acceleration, superior aero performance and safe cornering grip. The CUBE C:68X® cockpit system puts the rider in the optimal position, with a huge range of adjustment for the aero bars – and we included a Hammerhead Karoo 3 head unit, too. A Sram Force AXS 2x12 drivetrain with built-in power meter ensures the right gear is always right there, while matching Sram Force AXS hydraulic disc brakes ensure you're in full control, all the time. And absolutely all of it is crafted from our premium C:68X® carbon. We sweated the detail, so your sweat can be translated into pure speed.Frame descriptionDeveloped in close collaboration with CUBE athlete and World Champion Lucy Charles-Barclay, the Aerium C:68X can rightly claim its title as the fastest frame we've ever made. Despite adding disc brakes, the Aerium C:68X SLT is the fastest bike we've ever made. The frame is equipped with a modular hydration and storage system—for long races, you can even install two hydration systems. The CUBE cockpit puts everything within reach and is multi-adjustable. The aerodynamic carbon Newmen Advanced SL R.80 Streem wheels with Conti Grand Prix tires perfectly complement the wind-tunnel frame. Shimano's 2x12-speed Dura-Ace Di2 groupset takes care of electronic shifting and hydraulic braking. Prefer 1x12? That's also possible, a cover to keep the airflow from disturbing is included. Have we thought of everything? We think so.
CUBE Aerium C:68X SLX
In our quest to make the Aerium C:68X SLX the most efficient bike in the business, we left nothing to chance. Yes, integrating disc brakes on a triathlon bike is a challenge, but it was one we were more than happy to take on for the added safety factor. We also developed customizable storage and hydration systems, including the ability to carry two hydration systems. The rotating mass consists of carbon Newmen Advanced SL R.65/80 Streem wheels wrapped in Conti Grand Prix tires, for rapid acceleration, minimal drag, and tons of grip in the corners. The CUBE C:68® cockpit comes in a high or low version. With the wireless Sram Force AXS drivetrain, the right gear is always within reach, literally. A front derailleur is optional. We pushed ourselves to the limit in developing this wind-eating machine. Now it’s your turn.
