The applied ADDIX Green is Schwalbe’s compound containing a share of recycled carbon black (rCB) from the Schwalbe Recycling System and renewable raw materials such as natural rubber and silica from rice husks. The natural rubber used comes from fair trade (Fair Rubber e.V.) and is assigned to the supply chain via mass balance, not physically to the individual tire. The modern tread design provides a light, quiet ride on asphalt and high mileage, and the 3 mm thick GreenGuard puncture protection layer guards against flats. The ECE-R88-approved reflective stripe increases visibility; the tire is approved for e-bikes up to 25 km/h (E-25).
