STREEM G.62
Even with the Streem G.62 steel-spoke version, the weight remains at just 1,600 grams, and the price is reduced by an attractive 300 euros per set.
For optimal stiffness during hard accelerations, 24 Sapim CX Ray spokes on both the front and rear wheels ensure stability and long-lasting durability.
The G.62 is available with black decals.
THE DEEPEST, WIDEST, AND FASTEST RIM WE KNOW.
The mission was clear: a gravel wheel designed with uncompromising aerodynamics, perfectly tuned for modern gravel tires. And what can we say? The G.62 opens a whole new chapter in gravel racing. With a rim depth of 62 mm, an outer width of 45 mm, and an inner width of 27 mm, we’ve hit the sweet spot for today’s 45–50 mm tires!
The wide inner width allows modern tires to be ridden at optimal air pressure, meaning: more grip, more comfort, and faster rolling performance. The combination of outer width, rim depth and tire ensures optimal aerodynamics—all perfectly coordinated and tested in the wind tunnel.
HOW DO GRAVEL AND AERO GO TOGETHER?
With a taller rim height of 62 millimeters and an impressive rim width of 45 millimeters, the new Streem G.62 wheels push the limits without compromising on weight. Why? Because modern gravel races are getting faster and faster, and with average speeds approaching 40 km/h, they place very specific demands on aerodynamics. Through extensive wind tunnel testing, we were able to maximize the efficiency of the new Streem G.62 wheels at high speeds while leveraging the full potential of our proven Streem Road wheels.
The result is a gravel wheel that, even with a 50-millimeter-wide tire, matches the performance of the best aero road wheels in the wind tunnel.
A STABLE AND COMFORTABLE RIDE
To perform well in the wind tunnel, the tire should not be wider than the rim. With an outer width of 45 millimeters, the G.62 rim meets the requirements of modern gravel tires. Air flows over the tire and can re-establish contact with the rim edge. To prevent the tire from becoming excessively wide and ultimately protruding beyond the rim on both sides, the rim’s internal width must not be too large. With a sweet spot of 27 millimeters, we were able to meet both aerodynamic requirements and the demands of the riding experience. 27 millimeters provide sufficient lateral support at low tire pressures and allow the tire sidewalls to flex comfortably. With rims that have a larger inner width, comfort suffers increasingly because the sidewalls of the gravel tires stand too straight and flex noticeably less.
At the same time, the Streem G.62 wheels are not only noticeably fast but, thanks to their high width and sophisticated rim shape, remain more controllable than the competition with lower rim heights—even in strong crosswinds.
Sounds too good to be true? We thought so too, but not only wind tunnel measurements but also real-world experience at the Final Frontier in Patagonia proved the crosswind stability of the G.62.
SAFE AND STRONG
Like all our road and gravel wheels, the G.62 rims feature a rim flange with a hook. This ensures safety even at high tire pressures and effectively prevents the tire from coming off.
Riders who prefer a more comfortable ride and let the tires do the work will benefit from the rim’s robust construction with an extra-wide flange. With an impact resistance of over 12.36 joules, the new gravel rim even meets our cross-country requirements for mountain bikes, up to a system weight of 130 kilograms. The rear wheel features our well-known Fade R hub with three pawls, which is also approved for e-drives with up to 60 Newton-meters of torque.

THE RIM
6069 aluminium for the win!
On our quest to develop the perfect rim shape, we conducted impact tests and FEM analyses on over 30 different rim profile prototypes. This resulted in the rim profile we now use on all MTB wheels.
The 30 millimeter wide aluminium Beskar rims with their flat profile achieved the best impact resistance values in their weight classes on the test bench - both in comparison to the predecessor and the competition.
The combination of the thought through rim profile, a welded joint, and the finest aluminum results in a highly durable and yet lightweight rim that doesn´t shy away from any challenge.
We follow the principle low weight in the front, high durability in the back. This is why we developed four versions of the Beskar rim: light, base, strong and DH. While the rim profile.
THE SPOKES
High-end wheels, high-end spokes.
Of course we have selected only the best spokes for our finest aluminum wheels.
Depending on the intended use, either 28 or 32 high-end Sapim spokes connect rim and hub. To give you the perfect balance between weight, durability and comfort, not only the spoke count, but also the thickness varies.
Reliable, light and, if needed, easy to service or replace. These are spokes you don´t need to worry about.
THE HUB
Reliable, light and silent.
Three pawls, a newly designed tooth profile and the large diameter of the freewheel are working perfectly together to give you a smooth and silent ride.
More material at the critical points enhances security and durability. We are so convinced of our new FADE hub generation that we have approved all FADE MTB hubs for E-MTB use without exception.

Our lightest Streem Aero wheelset for the mountains. We combine a 35 mm rim on the front wheel with 38 mm profile height on the rear wheel. The inner rim width of 22 mm is perfect for modern tires up to 28 mm wide. Thanks to the outer width of 29.5 mm, the Streem Climbing retains its top aerodynamic values even with wide tires.
The key link are the VONOA Aerowide carbon spokes. Not only do they weigh 40 percent less than comparable steel spokes, they are also significantly stiffer. As a result, the front wheels only needs 15 spokes, while 18 aero carbon spokes create a stiff wheel at the rear. For less air turbulence, we also rely on the integrated aero valve on the Streem VONOA, which disappears completely into the carbon rim. The result: better aerodynamics, cleaner look. The 1045 gram Streem Climbing set is therefore not only an expert for mountain stages, but also an ultra-light all-rounder with uncompromising aerodynamics.
Each Streem wheel comes with a complete Streem Aero valve kit, pre-installed tubeless rim tape and a Tubolito Tubo-Road tube.

A good bicycle wheel is essential for every ride. A good wheel makes all the difference: it determines your speed, grip, comfort and safety during every ride. In our collection you will only find high-quality wheels for sporty performances. Whether you go for fast kilometers on asphalt or technical trails in the forest.
The right bicycle wheels for your type of ride
When choosing new bike wheels, it is important to take a good look at the type of bike and the terrain you ride on. For road cyclists, everything revolves around speed, efficiency and light weight. The wheels in our road bike collection are therefore designed with aerodynamics and stiffness in mind. They offer minimal rolling resistance and maximum power transfer, allowing you to effortlessly ride long distances or push yourself during a sprint.
Mountain bikers, on the other hand, need robustness, grip and stability. Our MTB wheels are built to withstand a beating and provide reliable performance on challenging surfaces like mud, gravel, roots and rocks. Thanks to the wider hubs and reinforced rims, you stay in control, even on the most technical trails. Whether you're climbing, descending or railing through corners: the right wheel helps you ride with confidence and precision.
In other words: whether you are an asphalt eater or a trail devourer, at CUBE Stores you will find wheels that perfectly support your riding style and ambitions.
Tubeless riding: More grip, fewer punctures
More and more sports cyclists are opting for tubeless wheels , and for good reason. Because you ride without an inner tube, you benefit from lower rolling resistance , better grip and a much lower chance of punctures . Thanks to the possibility of riding with lower tire pressure, you experience more comfort and more traction, ideal for rough terrain or fast corners at high speed.
Another advantage is the use of tubeless sealant: a special fluid in your tire that automatically seals small holes while you ride. This way you don't have to worry about a flat tire on the road. Whether you ride on gravel, conquer trails or travel long distances on the road, tubeless riding gives you that little bit of extra security and performance.
Carbon wheels: Lightweight speed with maximum control
Those who want to get the most out of their ride choose carbon wheels . Thanks to their low weight , high stiffness and aerodynamic design, they are the favorite among performance-oriented cyclists. Carbon wheelsets provide faster acceleration, better power transfer and help you maintain higher speeds effortlessly, ideal for climbing, sprinting or long tempos on the flat.
You will feel the difference immediately: your bike responds more sharply, rolls more smoothly and gives you that extra advantage when it matters. Although carbon wheels are often a bit more expensive than aluminum versions, they offer a serious upgrade in performance, both for fanatic recreational riders and for those who ride in competition. With carbon you opt for pure speed, without sacrificing control and comfort.
