The Numove 120 Walk's elegant simplicity disguises the thought that's gone into it. The magnesium frame is exceptionally light and features curved surfaces throughout for the safest possible riding experience, even when the inevitable tumbles happen. Simple, lightweight wheels with chunky tyres continue the theme, while the saddle, handlebar and grips are carefully sized for small bodies and hands. And, of course, it's passed all our stringent in-house safety tests. Let the play commence!Frame descriptionThe Numove 120 Walk has a trick up its sleeve: a full magnesium frame. Exceptionally light and strong, it's the ideal material for a very first bike. We shaped the frame carefully to ensure there are no sharp corners or edges for extra peace of mind. The saddle can be adjusted for height, too. And... that's it. That's all you need. Simple, light, strong and safe.
Learning to ride a bike is a rite of passage for all of us, and a light bike just makes the process a little easier. The Numove 140's specially designed frame and fork is built with low weight in mind, and matched with components – like the CUBE stem and German-made Thun bottom bracket – that are also light and durable. Light wheels are shod with narrow tyres, and we fitted V-brakes front and rear – with levers, handlebars and grips matched to small hands – for their simplicity and ease of use. We haven't forgotten safety, of course, which is why edges are all rounded and the chain is entirely enclosed. And, although it's light, it's also built to be child-tough, so it'll easily stand up to some spirited play as your child's confidence grows.Frame descriptionYour aspiring young rider deserves a bike that's every bit as well designed and made as mum and dad's. That's why the Numove 140's slimline frame is designed from the ground up to be as light as it possibly can be, without sacrificing the strength that any child's bike needs to shrug off the rough and tumble of play and the occasional mishap. With a matching alloy rigid fork and proportions and geometry to flatter a youngster's growing confidence, it's the starter bike you probably wish was available when you were a kid.
The Numove 160 is the ideal introduction to the joys of pedal power – tough enough to stand up to enthusiastic use, but light enough to inspire. Sensibly proportioned, child-friendly components are designed to last the course and to suit a growing child's build and strength perfectly. The chain is safely enclosed out of harm's way, while light, easy-to-use V-brakes – with levers specially designed for small hands – give your aspiring rider the confidence they need to learn to control their speed safely. All that's missing is an adventurous spirit and a whole load of enthusiasm!Frame descriptionJust like with our adult bikes, the Numove 160 blends the fun of responsive handling with the safety of stable, predictable steering – and the reassurance of having passed through our rigorous in-house testing processes. The lightweight 6061 aluminium frame features rounded edges and corners to help minimise the risk of injury, but it's also more than tough enough to stand up to enthusiastic use. And a choice of paint finishes means there's a Numove 160 that'll capture every child's imagination.

And, just to really seal the deal, we fitted mudguards, a luggage carrier, lights and a kickstand – so your keen young cyclist is fully equipped for any two-wheeled adventure. They'll love it, and you will too.Frame descriptionA light bike is one that's easier to ride, and a bike that's easier to ride helps build confidence for a young rider. That's why we used heat-treated 6061 aluminium for the Aruba 240's frame, and fitted a matching rigid fork. It all meets our exacting safety standards, so you know it's tough enough to stand up to a lot of enthusiastic use. But, just as important, it's designed to be lively and fun to ride. And that's sure to put a smile on your young rider's face.
With its elegant Easy Entry frame and design cues borrowed from our adult range, the Aruba 200 is a bike that the young fashionista in your family will love. Details matter when you're designing a bike for young riders. The Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie SLX's Magura MT Thirty hydraulic disc brakes, for example, aren't just powerful. They also feature excellent lever adjustment, so they can be set up perfectly for small hands. Combined with the 19mm-diameter handlebar and the easily adjustable air suspension fork, it's the kind of thing that can make all the difference. A remote dropper post will help give their confidence a boost, and big volume 2.35in Schwalbe Hans Dampf tyres have the grip they'll need to build their riding skills. And, with pedal assistance up to 20km/h from Bosch's lightweight SX drive and 400Wh battery – delivered via Shimano's smooth 1x11 Cues gears – there's plenty of extra shove on tap for fun family rides.Frame descriptionFrom its Advanced Internal Cable Routing to its Boost rear axle and UDH gear hanger, the Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie's frame is bursting with exactly the same kind of attention to detail as our adult mountain bikes. The lightweight Bosch SX drive and fixed 400Wh battery sit snugly in the frame, providing up to 55Nm of pedal assistance to a maximum speed of 20km/h, plus full compatibility with the optional 250Wh PowerMore range extender. It's even dropper seatpost ready and SIC 2.0 compatible, for easy fitting of a luggage carrier. And, with the included kickstand, your youngster will never struggle for somewhere to park it.
With its 24 inch wheels and perfectly proportioned frame, the Stereo 240 ONE is every bit as capable as mom and dad’s bikes. The high-quality aluminum frame construction is the same, as is the efficient 4-Link suspension system. Just like all our other bikes, we’ve thoroughly tested this one in our lab. So, you can be sure that your kids will not only enjoy their new bike but that it’s also absolutely safe. We’ve entrusted the shifting to Shimano, Manitou takes care of the suspension elements, and braking specialist Magura ensures smooth and reliable stopping power. Whether the trail goes uphill or downhill, small shredders can always count on this bike.
Okay, bikes were never designed to fly. But it’s certainly possible. At least, for those riding a Flying Circus 240. This mini-dirtbike feels just as at home on the kicker line as it does on a pump track. With a sturdy RST Snyper fork to absorb the hits. The Billy Bonkers tires from Schwalbe are tough enough to handle it too. With Shimano disc brakes and a singlespeed setup, it’s got everything you need.

Tips for buying a children's bike or toddler bike
When buying a children's bike , make sure you buy a bike that is the right size. Your child should be able to get on and off without any problems in order to easily go out.
A child's bike that is too big can lead to dangerous situations. Your child will not be able to get off or brake easily, because their feet cannot reach the ground. So pay close attention to this when buying a child's bike. Let your child get used to learning to ride a bike without training wheels at their own pace, by building up from a balance bike to a real bike!
What size children's bicycle does my child need?
Children grow fast. That's why it's important to buy the right size bike for kids or bike for toddlers. Use the tool on the bike page to determine the bike size for your child.
Children's bicycle size - look at the clothing size
The age of your child does not always give a good picture, because one child can be taller than another child of the same age. The height and clothing size of your child are in most cases decisive in choosing a certain children's bike.
Sizes of children's bicycles are indicated in inches; this is the wheel size. Think for example of 18 inch, 16 inch or 12 inch children's bicycles.
A safe children's bicycle for your child
Some children grow very quickly. That is why it is important to regularly check whether your child's bike is still properly adjusted. Make sure that the handlebars and saddle are set to the correct height. The legs should not be completely stretched while pedaling and your child should be able to put his or her foot on the ground without stepping off the saddle.
Saddle height and legroom on children's bicycles
For optimal cycling fun, it is essential that the saddle of the children's bike is at the right height. With balance bikes and also with the first bike with chain drive, children should be able to easily reach the ground with their feet. This helps them when they roll their first meters on two wheels. As soon as your child can roll confidently, the saddle can be placed a little higher. But not too high, the child should preferably be able to reach the ground with the balls of his feet. The free space between the crotch and the bar of the bike depends on the leg length of your child and the shape of the frame. The lower the bar (= top tube), the more space. We recommend at least 3 to 5 centimeters of play space between the top of the bar and the bottom of the crotch. Or in other words: the top tube should be 3 to 5 centimeters shorter than the inside leg length of your child.
Bending the knee on children's bicycles
The bending of the knees is determined by the height of the saddle. This means that a low saddle position - such as with balance and learning bikes where the feet must be able to easily reach the ground - requires a stronger bending of the knees. Children who already have a lot of self-confidence on the bike can better place the saddle higher, preferably so high that the leg is almost fully extended while pedaling. This allows more power to be exerted and reduces fatigue. If your child's knees almost touch the elbows when cycling upright, then it is time for a larger type of children's bike.
Position of the foot on a children's bicycle
As we have already indicated above, children who are learning to ride a bike should be able to reach the ground with their feet. However, once they are able to ride a bike, it is better if they only touch the ground with the balls of their feet. For an effective pedaling movement, the ball of the foot should also lie flat on the pedal of the child's bike.
CUBE Children's bicycle inch sizes
At CUBE you can find inch sizes 12, 16, 18, 20, 24 and 26. Some CUBE children's bicycles are indicated in sizes XXS, XS or S.
Children's bicycle according to wishes for every child
When your son or daughter starts cycling, a child's bike with training wheels can be a solution. With training wheels, you can determine how quickly your child learns to cycle. This is how it works: the higher you set the training wheels, the more balance your child has to maintain. If you notice that your child no longer needs training wheels, then the real work can begin.
