At CUBE, safety and comfort are paramount. Our helmets with the MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) offer additional protection by reducing rotational forces in the event of a fall. An advanced low-friction layer allows the helmet to flex slightly, reducing impact on the brain.
The MIPS system is designed to provide additional protection in a wide range of accidents. In certain impacts, MIPS can reduce damaging forces that would otherwise be transferred to the head.
Unlike traditional helmets, which are primarily designed and tested for straight impacts, the low-friction layer of the MIPS system mimics the brain's own protective system and is designed to protect the brain from rotational movements. Cerebrospinal fluid is our natural protective system, allowing the brain to move relative to the skull.
