The ACID RACE 6 degree flipflop-stuurpen is designed to help every CUBE rider find the perfect fit on their bike. Constructed from heat treated 6061-T6 aluminium and tested to a maximum user weight of 125kg, it's intended to fit a wide range of applications with a 31.8mm handlebar clamp diameter. The flipflop design and 6 degree angle allow for fine-tuning of handlebar height, whilst a huge range of available lengths spanning 40mm to 140mm in 10 increments makes it easy to achieve the desired riding position. The faceplate is FPILink compatible, for easy attachment of a wide range of accessories like computers and lights, and the stem is also e-bike ready.

We also equipped the rear end with a thru-axle and added a tapered head tube for improved rigidity and steering precision, even when fully laden. The pedal body of the 105 R7000 pedals is made of carbon composite, which provides high stiffness. The large, ergonomically shaped pedal surface improves power transfer, so you can ride harder with the same effort. Additionally, the larger surface area reduces the chance of painful feet during long rides. Aluminum plates at the contact points ensure that the pedal body wears less quickly.
Smooth rotating bearings
The pedal axle of the 105 R7000 pedals is equipped with dual bearings, allowing the pedal to rotate smoothly and reducing energy loss while pedaling. A minor drawback is that the sealing of these bearings is not as good as that of the Ultegra R8000 pedals. If you mainly ride in dry weather, this is not an issue. However, if you often ride through rain and mud, the Ultegra R8000 pedals with extra sealing might be a better choice.
