Learning to ride a bike is part of growing up, and a lightweight bike makes the learning process a bit easier. That’s why achieving the lowest possible weight was a key focus in developing the Numove 160. But not at the expense of strength, as a kids' bike must withstand some rough handling. The components were also selected for their low weight and high durability. The bike features practical V-brakes at the front and rear, with smaller brake levers and thinner grips, specifically designed for smaller hands. Safety wasn’t overlooked either: all edges are rounded, and the chain is neatly enclosed in a chain guard.

An electric drive enables higher speeds, more distance and the transport of larger loads, all resulting in new requirements for braking. Most importantly, however, the extra power means that we have to rethink braking techniques in the event of an emergency stop. A study concluded that the Bosch eBike ABS could have prevented 29% of pedelec accidents.

The DESCENDER is our first full-face helmet developed fully in-house, built to be downhill-friendly. Its robust ABS outer shell combined with MIPS technology ensures high protection against both impact and rotational forces. The breakaway visor is engineered to detach in a controlled manner during a crash, reducing torsional stress on the neck and spine. With 21 vents, the helmet remains well-ventilated even at lower speeds. The visor design allows easy mounting of an action camera or X-Lock compatible light via hook-and-loop fastener and adapter.
