A lot of things come together very quickly for a multi-day trip or an alpine cross. A well-organised backpack is crucial here. That's why I find the wide-opening front, the separate bottom compartment and the easily accessible tool compartment on the OX 25+ just great. Now the weather just needs to cooperate. If a rain shower does come, the integrated rain cover will protect my backpack from mud and the wetness and the wet clothes can then even dry in the practical wet laundry compartment while I'm riding.

If worst comes to worst, the spare tube and pump are easily accessible in the perfectly organised tool compartment. And then the nasty drop at the crux.
