You can't just stick brakes designed for adult hands on a kid's bike. That's why, for the Numove 240 Disc, we fitted 140mm rotors and child-specific levers for its Tektro hydraulic disc brake system. With a wide range of adjustment and just the right amount of power and modulation for a lighter rider, they're the perfect accompaniment to the Newmen Performance 22 Light wheelset and Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres. Easy-shifting 8-speed gears cover a wide range, and the adjustable stem means it's straightforward to tweak the bike's fit as your child grows. It's the complete package for adventurous youngsters.Frame descriptionHow d'you make a great kid's bike even better? You fit disc brakes, for safer and more controlled stopping. With its flat mount for hydraulic callipers and another for a kickstand, the Numove 240 Disc is all set for adventures of the all-terrain kind. The lightweight aluminium frame and fork are designed for fun, safe handling, and you can rest assured that it's passed our incredibly rigorous in-house safety tests. Bring on the adventure!
Light, tough, adaptable and fun – they're all words that describe the Numove 240 FE. We started with a lightweight aluminium frame and fork, because a light bike is one that's better to ride. Controls like handlebars and brake levers are specifically proportioned to fit smaller hands, so your young rider will always feel in control. The full set of accessories – including luggage carrier, mudguards, lights and kickstand – makes for an adventure-ready bike. And the high-quality Thun bottom bracket – made in Germany – plus Schwalbe tyres and 8-speed gears are indicative of the quality components we've chosen for durability and peace of mind. It's all set for two-wheeled fun!Frame descriptionA light bike is one that's fun, fast and easier to control. That's why we built the Numove 240 FE's frame and matching fork to be tough enough to stand up to enthusiastic use, but light enough to put a grin on your youngster's face. Plus you know it's safe, because it's passed all our in-house testing. With geometry tailored to a young rider's needs and a full set of accessories – including mudguards, carrier, lights and kickstand – included as standard, it's all your child needs to have fun and build their cycling confidence.
The Q-factor—the distance between the pedal attachment points on the left and right crank arms—is adjusted to children's height and posture. A smaller Q-factor helps children pedal more efficiently and ergonomically. And that means more fun on two wheels.

The CUBE Numove 240: Lightweight and specifically designed for juniors
The Numove is specifically designed with a low weight as a starting point. After all; lighter is faster and easier, especially for juniors. A lightweight frame and fork form the basis, finishing touches are light but reliable components. Such as a Thun bottom bracket and grippy Little Joe tires from Schwalbe. The reliable V-brakes have smaller children's brake levers and the handlebars and grips are also adjusted in proportion to the young rider. The stem is adjustable, so that the seating position can grow with the child. A Shimano transmission with 8 gears rounds it all off. This is the bike you would have wanted yourself when you were little.
