    CUBE NUROAD HYBRID C:62 SLX 400X ICEBLUE/PRISM

There's a lot more to the Nuroad Hybrid C:62 SLX than its light, tough and beautifully sculpted C:62 carbon frame and full carbon fork. For starters, Bosch's lightweight SX drive unit and a 400Wh battery deliver up to 60Nm of torque – and we pre-installed X-Connect, to make it simple to add a compatible ACID front light. Rack mounting points front and rear give you the option of carrying everything you need with you. Shimano's GRX Di2 1x12 gears deliver a huge gear range and exceptional ruggedness with flawless electronic shifting, via a carbon crankset. Powerful Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes keep your speed in check via light, tough Newmen Evolution SL X.R.25 wheels and tenaciously grippy Continental 45mm Terra Adventure bikepacking-specific tyres. And even with optional mudguards fitted, there's room to run tyres up to 50mm. There's only one remaining question: where to next?Frame descriptionForm meets function in the elegant shape of the Nuroad Hybrid C:62's carbon frame. Sure, it's a great looker, with a clean profile and organic curves. But we haven't forgotten practicality, like incorporating clearance for tyres up to 50mm even with mudguards fitted. Or carrier mounting points at the rear and on the full carbon fork, for maximum bikepacking versatility. The Bosch drive system's control unit is incorporated into the top tube, with a mini handlebar remote, and the frame is PowerMore-ready for a +250Wh battery booster pack. The seat clamp is hidden, there's a Direct Mount lightweight chain guide, a flat mount kickstand interface, Boost rear end and UDH derailleur hanger. We reckon we've ticked all the boxes. CUBE NUROAD HYBRID C:62 RACE 400X FE REEDBEIGE/BLACK

Lightweight Bosch hybrid technology, elegant carbon frame aesthetics and the practicality of mudguards and a luggage carrier come together in the Nuroad Hybrid C:62 Race FE. The full carbon fork is carrier-ready, too, and there's more than enough room for the 45mm Schwalbe tyres – you can fit up to 50mm – even with the included mudguards. Bosch's lightweight SX drive system is paired with a 400Wh battery and capable of delivering 60Nm of assistance, while the frame is PowerMore-ready for an additional 250Wh of range – and front and rear lights are pre-installed. Rugged and light Newmen wheels are kept in check with Shimano's powerful GRX hydraulic disc brakes, while drive is transferred with wide-ranging Shimano GRX 1x12 gears. Whatever bikepacking adventure you have in mind, this bike is ready.Frame descriptionThere's more to making a really practical frame than bolting on mudguards and a carrier, although we've done that too. The Nuroad Hybrid C:62 FE's elegantly sculpted C:62 frame is full of neat touches, like the ability to run up to 50mm tyres even with the included mudguards. The full carbon fork has carrier mounts, we added a Direct Mount lightweight chain guide, there's a flat mount kickstand interface, and the rear end is equipped with Boost axle and UDH gear hanger. As for the Bosch drive system, it's PowerMore-ready for a +250Wh battery booster pack and the control unit is neatly incorporated inside the top tube, with a separate Mini Remote on the handlebar. We sweated the detail, so all you need to do is ride.

But they’re also packed with practical details to make life easier. There’s clearance for up to 50mm tires, even with mudguards mounted, for better traction and a smoother ride. The rear rack mounts are complemented by matching mounts for a front rack or CUBE ACID fork cages and a load capacity of up to 10kg on the full carbon fork, while an optional handlebar bag adds even more weight and carrying capacity. The rear end is equipped with a Boost axle for a safer ride and a UDH gear hanger for the future. To complement the frame’s clean aesthetic, the cables are routed through the headset and the seat clamp is integrated into the frame. There’s also a flat mount kickstand interface for commuters, and a direct mount chainstay to keep the gears meshing smoothly, even on the roughest surfaces.
