THE RIM

On our quest to develop the perfect rim shape, we conducted impact tests and FEM analyses on over 30 different rim profile prototypes. This resulted in the rim profile we now use on all MTB wheels.
The 30 millimeter wide aluminium Beskar rims with their flat profile achieved the best impact resistance values in their weight classes on the test bench - both in comparison to the predecessor and the competition.
The combination of the thought through rim profile, a welded joint, and the finest aluminum results in a highly durable and yet lightweight rim that doesn´t shy away from any challenge.
We follow the principle low weight in the front, high durability in the back. This is why we developed four versions of the Beskar rim: light, base, strong and DH. While the rim profile.

We believe, that there is the perfect wheel for every riding style and follow the concept,low weight in the front, high durability in the back. This is why we have developed three versions of the Phase rim: light, base and strong. While the rim profile stays
the same, the wall thickness changes. For example, if you are giving it all on rough endurotracks, we would recommend a Phase base front wheel combined with a Phase strong back wheel.
As with all our NEWMEN carbon rims, we also grant a lifetime 50% crash replacement on the Phase 30 Lineup - even for second or third owners.
THE SPOKES
VONOA or classic steel? With Phase wheels you get to choose.
Yepp, you can get these wheels with VONOA spokes. It doesn´t get much lighter: 2,8g per spoke.
In total, we are able to save 40% weight while being 30% stiffer compared to conventionalspokes. This allows us to build the Phase wheels with only 24 spokes, creating the perfect balance between stiffness and comfort. At the same time, VONOA spokes are just as easy to replace and service as conventional spokes.
As impressive as the VONOA spokes are, of course we have only selected the best steel spokes for our Phase wheels. Using high-end Sapim spokes in different diameters according to the intended use. These are spokes are spokes you can rely on.

The new Beskar flat pedal offers exceptional grip thanks to its large platform (105x100 mm), concave design and eight stainless steel pins per side. When it comes to the positioning and placement of the pins, tests have shown that less is actually more, namely more grip! This is why there are no pins on the centre bar of the flat pedal body. The eight pins per side in a hexagonal design are easy to replace, generate very good grip in rough sections and at the same time allow easy correction of the foot on the downhill.
We have also put a lot of thought into durability and tested it on the test bench. The special bearing system is floating and preloaded with washers, which ensure that the bearings run free of tension and play. In addition, the forces caused by impacts are better distributed and the effect on the bearings is significantly reduced. Together with the robust, CNC-machined aluminium pedal body, the result is a durable MTB flat pedal that can be used on trail bikes as well as downhill bikes. The titanium axle reduces the weight of the Beskar flat pedal to 295 grams per pair.

The ACID stem range is designed to provide the correct length and angle to provide the perfect fit for any bike and rider. The 18 degree stem is available in a wide range of lengths from 70mm to 130mm in 10mm increments. With a maximum user weight of 125kg and made from heat treated 6061 T6 aluminium, it's ideally suited to trekking bikes. The clamp diameter is 31.8mm for a secure fit to the handlebar, and the face plate is fully FPILink compatible for the easy installation of accessories like lights or computers.
