What is the lifespan of outer tires for your racing bike?
The lifespan of outer tires depends on various factors. What surface do you cycle on? In what conditions do you cycle? How much pressure is there in the racing bike tires? And what is your riding style? All these factors play a role. If you cycle a lot on bad road surfaces or in the rain, your racing bike tires will wear out faster. Frequent slipping or a heavier weight can also contribute to wear. Some racing bike tires are equipped with wear indicators, small holes in the tread of the tire. Small holes are sealed with latex injected into the tire, which significantly reduces the chance of a puncture.
