The Acid 240 is the ideal choice for growing riders who want to keep up with their friends and parents. The Suntour suspension fork improves comfort and control on rough surfaces, while Shimano 7-speed gears put every hill within reach. The V-brakes are powerful and easy to control, thanks to levers that are specially designed for small hands and a power modulator on the front. Frame description
Built from the same heat-treated 6061 aluminium tubes as our adult bikes, the Acid 240's frame is every bit as tough as a full-size mountain bike, but with the right weight and proportions for a child. There's a bottle mount for mid-ride refreshment and rack mounts, too. The handling is designed to be both fun and confidence-inspiring. And, because we know accidents can happen, we made the gear hanger easily replaceable so that a knock or crash needn't result in an expensive repair.

1. Stand barefoot with your heels against the wall. Place your feet about 6 inches apart.
2. Grab a book and place it between your legs, with the short side of the book against the wall. Press the book up against your crotch, mimicking the idea of a bicycle saddle.
3. Measure the length from the top of the book to the floor, the distance you measure is your inseam.
