Dat de CUBE Cubie 160 RT maar klein is, wil niet zeggen dat we deze kinderfiets maar weinig aandacht hebben gegeven. Integendeel; door buizen van hoogwaardig aluminium te gebruiken, is een licht frame gecreëerd dat tegelijkertijd sterk genoeg om intensief gebruik te weerstaan. Want welke vader of moeder zit te wachten op kindertraantjes omdat de fiets kapot is? De rijeigenschappen zijn speels, maar ook stabiel en voorspelbaar. Want fietsfun is leuk, je wilt als ouder ook dat het veilig is. Dus ook afgeronde hoeken en zo min mogelijk uitstekende delen. Natuurlijk hebben we kindvriendelijke onderdelen gebruikt, zoals een terugtraprem. Een velgrem op het voorwiel levert extra remvermogen voor als het zelfvertrouwen groeit. Natuurlijk hebben we gedacht aan een kleine remhendel, voor kleine handjes. Een kettingkast houdt de broekspijp schoon, een stoer motorcross-spatbord beschermt het zitvlak tegen opspattend water.
