When the bug bites, it's only natural that the mini mountain biker in the family is going to want a bike to match their enthusiasm. The Stereo 240 ONE Actionteam's Manitou J-Unit fork and Radium rear shock – with kids' specific tune – is the one they're going to want. With its 24-inch wheels and perfectly proportioned frame, it's every inch a real mountain bike scaled down to size. That's why we fitted the easy-to-use 1x9 gear system, and powerful Magura hydraulic brakes – so your little shredder is as safe and confident coming down the hill as they are going up.
Frame description
Loads of experience goes into every CUBE frame – and the Stereo 240 Pro is no exception. The wheels may be smaller than our other full-suspension bikes, but the attention to detail is just as thorough. We use the same kind of butted-aluminium tubes as our full-size bikes, and apply the same suspension kinematics. There's a replaceable gear hanger so that the inevitable crashes don't result in an expensive frame repair, and it's all passed our strict in-house safety tests with flying colours – so you know it's not just a fun ride, but a safe one too.
Find your size!Enter your height and inseam below and click on 'Calculate my frame size' to see which size you need. You measure your inseam as follows:
1. Stand barefoot with your heels against the wall. Place your feet about 6 inches apart.
2. Grab a book and place it between your legs, with the short side of the book against the wall. Press the book up against your crotch, mimicking the idea of a bicycle saddle.
3. Measure the length from the top of the book to the floor, the distance you measure is your inseam.
