E-bike cranks rethought! Every E-Mountainbiker will know the problem: You want to lubricate the chain on your e-bike, turn the crank backwards out of habit, but what happens? The freewheel of the motor spins and the chain does not move.
We no longer wanted to heave our heavy e-bikes onto assembly stands or try other emergency solutions that aren't at hand just when you need them.
With our patented Newmen Forge E-Bike crank, a spring-return pin engages the chainring and allows it to rotate backwards as well. This allows you to lubricate your chain as usual, without an assembly stand. If you take pressure off the crank, the pin automatically springs back. The 430 gram aluminium crank is compatible with Bosch Gen4/5 motors, the Brose Drive3 and the new Bosch Performance SX motors.
