What makes a Schwalbe inner tube special?

In addition to the quality of the components, the purity of the rubber compound is distinctive for the quality of the inner tube. Therefore, the raw material is pressed through seven filters under enormous pressure before extraction. All
inner tubes are placed in a mold and inflated before vulcanization. Only this procedure guarantees uniform wall thickness and long-lasting airtightness.

All inner tubes are inflated and stored for 24 hours to test their airtightness. Then each inner tube is carefully inspected individually. The bike trade has valued the Schwalbe inner tube for many years due to its high reliability.

Thanks to the high elasticity and quality, one inner tube can cover many tire sizes. Inner tube group 17 is equally suitable for a tire width of 28 mm as for 47 mm. This is a great advantage for stock management in the trade.

All valves are nickel-plated and threaded. The valve insert is always replaceable. Schwalbe inner tubes with the Dutch bike valve can also be tested for tire pressure and have a highly pressure-stable valve seal.

Every Schwalbe inner tube is 100% recyclable. We can use the recycled butyl rubber in the production of new inner tubes without any loss of quality. We have developed our own devulcanization method in our factory. We have been successfully using this method for many years.

Every new Schwalbe standard inner tube consists of 20% recycled material. Compared to extracting and transporting new butyl, recycling inner tubes consumes only 20% of the energy.
