Where the car was once the solution, it has now become a source of problems. It's high time to think creatively – exactly what we've done with our Trike Family Hybrid 1500. Despite its three wheels, this trike steers and rides just like a regular bike with pedal assistance. That assistance comes from the powerful Bosch CX motor, powered by two large 750 watt-hour batteries. The robust, stepless Enviolo Cargo transmission ensures you always smoothly shift to the right gear. At the front, the Suntour Mobie34 Cargo fork absorbs road imperfections, while powerful hydraulic disc brakes with a parking brake ensure control and safety. Although the Trike Hybrid comes in one size, you can easily find the ideal riding position thanks to the adjustable seat post and stem. That's why, with the Kathmandu's Integrated Carrier 3.0, we designed it to work seamlessly with our ACID mudguard. We've fitted a flat mount for the rear disc brake – it also accommodates the kickstand – and used Smooth Welding to give the frame joints a tidy, organic appearance. But it's not all about looks. We also equipped the rear end with a thru-axle and added a tapered head tube for improved rigidity and steering precision, even when fully laden. With Internal Cable Routing to complement the frame's clean looks, we reckon we've thought of everything. Just don't forget your toothbrush.

HIC - Headtube Integrated Carrier
Attaches to the frame using the new HIC system developed by CUBE. Unlike carriers that bolt directly onto the head tube, the Front Carrier HIC can twist away in the event of an impact, reducing the likelihood of damage to the frame. The loading area's forward-pointing stays add stiffness in spades, while the 360° flowing outer contours set a new standard in front carrier design. This carrier is compatible with our ACID Basket 20 & 25 RILink (including the wicker version). Individual containers or plates can be bolted onto the loading area for maximum versatility. Luggage can be secured with bungee cords.
