The ACID RACE 6 degree flipflop-stuurpen is designed to help every CUBE rider find the perfect fit on their bike. Constructed from heat treated 6061-T6 aluminium and tested to a maximum user weight of 125kg, it's intended to fit a wide range of applications with a 31.8mm handlebar clamp diameter. The flipflop design and 6 degree angle allow for fine-tuning of handlebar height, whilst a huge range of available lengths spanning 40mm to 140mm in 10 increments makes it easy to achieve the desired riding position. When we set out to design the HERON, we didn't want to create just any road bike helmet. We wanted to create the ultimate road bike helmet!

After extensive wind tunnel testing, we came up with a design that directs cooling air over the entire head via deep ventilation channels yet doesn't look or feel too bulky in the process.

MIPS
MULTI-DIRECTIONAL IMPACT PROTECTION SYSTEM
The Brain Protection System MIPS can be found in many CUBE Helmets.
MIPS is a low friction layer between the helmet and the head that allows a sliding movement of 10-15mm, in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact forces.
The MIPS system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful forces that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.
Traditional helmets are designed for straight impacts, but most impacts are angled. The low friction layer reduces the rotational force of angled impacts.
Unlike traditional helmets, which are mainly designed and tested for straight impacts, the Mips system’s low-friction layer mimics the brain’s own protection system and is designed to protect the brain from rotational motion.
The cerebrospinal fluid is our natural protection system that allows the brain to move relative to the skull.

The CUBE RD C:68X® is our stiffest, lightest road shoe, designed to deliver the best performance for road riding perfectionists. The carbon fibre features a replaceable heel stud to help prolong service life. Twin disc fastening allows both fast entry and exit and an extremely secure closure, reinforced by a hard-wearing Dyneema ® wrap layer for durability even in the harshest conditions. The toe box and heel cap are both reinforced for extra protection, the upper is perforated to provide ventilation, and an NF Ergonomics insole ensures the best possible cushioning and pressure distribution for optimum pedalling.
