THE RIM
6069 aluminium for the win!
On our quest to develop the perfect rim shape, we conducted impact tests and FEM analyses on over 30 different rim profile prototypes. This resulted in the rim profile we now use on all MTB wheels.
The 30 millimeter wide aluminium Beskar rims with their flat profile achieved the best impact resistance values in their weight classes on the test bench - both in comparison to the predecessor and the competition.
The combination of the thought through rim profile, a welded joint, and the finest aluminum results in a highly durable and yet lightweight rim that doesn´t shy away from any challenge.
We follow the principle low weight in the front, high durability in the back. This is why we developed four versions of the Beskar rim: light, base, strong and DH. While the rim profile.
THE SPOKES

Of course we have selected only the best spokes for our finest aluminum wheels.
Depending on the intended use, either 28 or 32 high-end Sapim spokes connect rim and hub. To give you the perfect balance between weight, durability and comfort, not only the spoke count, but also the thickness varies.
Reliable, light and, if needed, easy to service or replace. These are spokes you don´t need to worry about.

The ACID Gravel Race HPA wheel is an affordable gravel wheel with thru axle. With a 28-hole triple cross spoke pattern, the standard J-bend spokes are effectively held in the 25 mm rim thanks to the SSE system. Centerlock disc brake mounts secure the brake discs, while industrial bearings ensure a long service life. CUBE High Performance Alluminum is light and strong. The rim is pinned instead of welded at the joint. Tubeless can be used with matching rim tape.

Our lightest Streem Aero wheelset for the mountains. We combine a 35 mm rim on the front wheel with 38 mm profile height on the rear wheel. The inner rim width of 22 mm is perfect for modern tires up to 28 mm wide. Thanks to the outer width of 29.5 mm, the Streem Climbing retains its top aerodynamic values even with wide tires.
The key link are the CS Aerowide carbon spokes. Not only do they weigh 40 percent less than comparable steel spokes, they are also significantly stiffer. As a result, the front wheels only needs 15 spokes, while 18 aero carbon spokes create a stiff wheel at the rear. For less air turbulence, we also rely on the integrated aero valve on the Streem CS, which disappears completely into the carbon rim. The result: better aerodynamics, cleaner look. The 1045 gram Streem Climbing set is therefore not only an expert for mountain stages, but also an ultra-light all-rounder with uncompromising aerodynamics.
Each Streem wheel comes with a complete Streem Aero valve kit, pre-installed tubeless rim tape and a Tubolito Tubo-Road tube.

The PRO ONE in this version with a transparent sidewall is a 30-622 folding tire that is used with an inner tube. The Super Race casing provides smooth damping on uneven asphalt, and the V-Guard layer of cut-resistant high-tech fabric protects against punctures. Tubeless riding is not allowed.
The steplessly adjustable telescopic seat post PRO 2.0 'Inside' is especially suitable for frames with inside attachment. All CUBE Stealth Ready frames are compatible. The adjustment range of 170 mm can be operated with the remote control at the cockpit. Both hands stay on the bar and offer maximum driving safety thanks to the remote control. Maximum recommended weight is 110 kg.
Our long-sleeved X Actionteam jersey is made from lightweight fabric for maximum freedom of movement and comfort. All you have to do is concentrate on shredding the trails. When we set out to design the HERON, we didn't want to create just any road bike helmet. We wanted to create the ultimate road bike helmet!

After extensive wind tunnel testing, we came up with a design that directs cooling air over the entire head via deep ventilation channels yet doesn't look or feel too bulky in the process.

MIPS
MULTI-DIRECTIONAL IMPACT PROTECTION SYSTEM
The Brain Protection System MIPS can be found in many CUBE Helmets.
MIPS is a low friction layer between the helmet and the head that allows a sliding movement of 10-15mm, in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact forces.
The MIPS system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful forces that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.
Traditional helmets are designed for straight impacts, but most impacts are angled. The low friction layer reduces the rotational force of angled impacts.
Unlike traditional helmets, which are mainly designed and tested for straight impacts, the Mips system’s low-friction layer mimics the brain’s own protection system and is designed to protect the brain from rotational motion.
The cerebrospinal fluid is our natural protection system that allows the brain to move relative to the skull.
