When we set out to design the HERON, we didn't want to create just any road bike helmet. We wanted to create the ultimate road bike helmet! After extensive wind tunnel testing, we came up with a design that directs cooling air over the entire head via deep ventilation channels yet doesn't look or feel too bulky in the process. At only 258g, our aero helmet gives you an extra portion of speed even on long-distance rides, while providing maximum comfort.

MIPS
MULTI-DIRECTIONAL IMPACT PROTECTION SYSTEM
The Brain Protection System MIPS can be found in many CUBE Helmets.
MIPS is a low friction layer between the helmet and the head that allows a sliding movement of 10-15mm, in all directions, reducing rotational motion to the brain during impact forces.
The MIPS system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful forces that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.
Traditional helmets are designed for straight impacts, but most impacts are angled. The low friction layer reduces the rotational force of angled impacts.
Unlike traditional helmets, which are mainly designed and tested for straight impacts, the Mips system’s low-friction layer mimics the brain’s own protection system and is designed to protect the brain from rotational motion.
The cerebrospinal fluid is our natural protection system that allows the brain to move relative to the skull.

Added protection comes courtesy of the extra coverage at the rear and the CUBE Natural Fit system allows you to adjust the helmet perfectly to your head and set the height of the Fit System – all with one hand. Micro-adjusting the webbing is a cinch with our proprietary Flat Dividers and everything is kept securely in place with the magnetic Fidlock closure. Mount your action camera or head lamp for night rides quickly and securely using the integrated X-Adapter – or flip the X-Lock mount around when not in use for an unobtrusive look. The visor flips up to make space for your goggles and there are plenty of ventilation channels along with the COOLMAX padding to help you keep a cool head when the trail points up.
The FLEET all-terrain helmet was designed to meet the high standards of CUBE's Natural Fit concept, our sophisticated ergonomics system developed in-house. Form and function align to work perfectly with your physical anatomy. In-mould construction delivers outstanding stability. Comfort and ventilation are courtesy of 14 Large air vents and improved ventilation channels. The clever SNAP 360 Fit System adjusts with one hand, and the height is adjustable too, to ensure a secure and comfortable fit. Removable, washable pads up the hygiene factor to keep everything daisy fresh. And thicker pads are also available so you can fine-tune the fit even further. Insect nets at the front keep out the bugs and the removable visor adds the flexibility to customise your style. And if you want to add a rear light, it's also compatible with the integrated light system.
