THE RIM
6069 aluminium for the win!
On our quest to develop the perfect rim shape, we conducted impact tests and FEM analyses on over 30 different rim profile prototypes. This resulted in the rim profile we now use on all MTB wheels.
The 30 millimeter wide aluminium Beskar rims with their flat profile achieved the best impact resistance values in their weight classes on the test bench - both in comparison to the predecessor and the competition.
The combination of the thought through rim profile, a welded joint, and the finest aluminum results in a highly durable and yet lightweight rim that doesn´t shy away from any challenge.
We follow the principle low weight in the front, high durability in the back. This is why we developed four versions of the Beskar rim: light, base, strong and DH. While the rim profile.

Depending on the intended use, either 28 or 32 high-end Sapim spokes connect rim and hub. To give you the perfect balance between weight, durability and comfort, not only the spoke count, but also the thickness varies.

The SMART SAM is the versatile mountain bike tire for commuting on asphalt and relaxed rides through the forest. The ADDIX Race compound provides maximum grip in fast corners, the Super Race casing makes the tire supple and comfortable, and V-Guard adds a cut-resistant high-tech fabric for puncture protection. The natural rubber used comes from fair trade (Fair Rubber e.V.) and is assigned to the supply chain via mass balance, not physically to the individual tire.

The extra volume absorbs irregularities, while the ADDIX Race compound provides grip in corners and during braking. The Super Race casing makes it flexible for long rides, and the cut-resistant high-tech V-Guard fabric protects against punctures. Tubeless mounting is not possible with this version.
