For passionate cyclists who strive for ultimate performance and speed, CUBE Stores offers a diverse collection of top-quality inner tubes. Our selection of tires is specially designed to optimize your cycling experience, with attention to quality and durability.
The AV 13 is the standard Schwalbe inner tube for 26-inch wheels and covers the ETRTO range 40/62-559. The 40 mm Auto/Schrader valve is easy to use and fits any common pump. Good material quality and a uniform wall thickness ensure that the inner tube retains air above average for a long time and can withstand a lot of stress. The inner tube contains approximately 20% recycled butyl (proportion in the compound) from the Schwalbe Recycling System.

Even in the snakebite test with a guillotine, Schwalbe’s new inner tube can withstand significantly greater drop heights than butyl, latex, or other plastic inner tubes. Its heat resistance is also excellent: it was tested at temperatures over 150 °C at 78 km/h in a specially developed process. When it comes to weight, Aerothan scores with its low weight, from 41 grams for road bikes to 61 grams for all-round riders to 81 grams for MTB. The inner tube fits so smoothly and snugly on the tire, as if it were part of it.As with all Schwalbe products, the new inner tube was not only created in the laboratory but also perfected through thousands of test rides. Professional racers, triathletes, world championship mountain bikers, and world cyclists provided valuable feedback to the developers.Including Patrick Lange, Ironman Hawaii World Champion 2017 and 2018. His conclusion: “Aerothan is my first choice. On the one hand, because you can save 100 grams per set of tires compared to conventional inner tubes. The AV 17 is the widely used butyl inner tube for 28-inch wheels and covers the ETRTO range 28/47-622/635, accommodating both narrow trekking tires and wide city tires. The auto/schrader valve measures 40 mm. The high air retention keeps the pressure stable for a long time, while the uniform wall thickness ensures reliability in daily use. The inner tube contains approximately 20% recycled butyl (proportion in the compound) from the Schwalbe Recycling System.
The SV 15L covers the ETRTO range 28/34-622/630 and is therefore intended for 28-inch tires from racing bikes to light touring bikes. The 40 mm Presta/French valve allows for precise adjustment of tire pressure, even at higher pressures. Each inner tube is inflated for 24 hours in advance and checked for leaks. The inner tube contains approximately 20% recycled butyl (proportion in the compound) from the Schwalbe Recycling System.
The DV 19 is the standard inner tube with a Dunlop/Holland valve of 40 mm for 27.5-, 28-, and 29-inch wheels within the ETRTO range 40/62-584/635. This valve type is the most common and easy to operate on Dutch city and trekking bikes. The high elasticity makes installation easy and ensures comfort on the road. The inner tube contains approximately 20% recycled butyl (proportion in the compound) from the Schwalbe Recycling System.
The DV 17 is the classic butyl inner tube for 28-inch wheels with a 40 mm Dunlop/Holland valve, the valve found on many Dutch city and transport bikes. The ETRTO range 28/47-622/635 makes it widely applicable. Its high load capacity and long pressure retention make it suitable for daily commuting. The inner tube contains approximately 20% recycled butyl (percentage in the compound) from the Schwalbe Recycling System.

The raw material is therefore pressed through seven filters under immense pressure before extraction. Allinner tubes are placed in a mold and inflated before vulcanization. Only this procedure ensures uniform wall thickness and long-lasting airtightness. All inner tubes are inflated and stored for 24 hours to test their airtightness. After that, each inner tube is carefully inspected individually. For many years, bike shops have valued Schwalbe inner tubes for their high reliability.Due to high elasticity and quality, one inner tube can cover a wide range of tire sizes. Inner tube group 17 is equally suitable for tire widths of 28 mm and 47 mm. This is a great advantage for stock management in bike shops. All valves are nickel-plated and threaded. The valve insert is always replaceable. Schwalbe inner tubes with the Dutch bike valve can also be pressure-tested and feature a high-pressure stable valve seal.Every Schwalbe inner tube is 100% recyclable. We can use recycled butyl rubber in the production of new inner tubes without any loss of quality. We have developed our own de-vulcanization method in our factory, which we have been successfully using for many years.Every new Schwalbe standard inner tube consists of 20% recycled material. Compared to extracting and transporting new butyl, recycling inner tubes consumes only 20% of the energy.

The AV 10 is the standard Schwalbe inner tube for 24-inch wheels and covers the ETRTO range 40/62-507. The 40 mm Auto/Schrader valve makes inflation easy, even on the go. The proven material quality and uniform wall thickness ensure that the inner tube maintains pressure above average and withstands heavy loads. The inner tube contains approximately 20% recycled butyl (percentage in the compound) from the Schwalbe Recycling System.
The SCV 19-AE brings the lightweight Aerothan material to wide trekking and mountain bike tires in the ETRTO range 47/65-622. The 40 mm aluminum Schwalbe Clik Valve clicks onto the pump head with minimal force and can be operated with two fingers. This maintains high puncture resistance and very low rolling resistance. In the production of the Aerothan material (TPU), pyrolysis oil from discarded tires is used. The allocation takes place via mass balance at the raw material producer, not physically in the individual inner tube.

What is the lifespan of bicycle inner tubes?
The lifespan of bicycle inner tubes depends on various factors. What surface do you cycle on? In what conditions do you cycle? How much pressure is there in the tires? And what is your riding style? All these factors play a role. If you cycle a lot on bad road surfaces or in the rain, your tires will wear out faster. Frequent slipping or a heavier weight can also contribute to wear.
Width of bicycle inner tube
Inner tubesare available in different sizes, often with a circumference of 700x or 28" Inch. The most common width for a bicycle tire is currently 25mm, but we are seeing a trend towards wider tires. This is partly made possible by the rise of disc bikes, which offer space for wider outer tires and inner tubes in the frame. A wider bicycle tire offers advantages such as improved grip, more comfort and less rolling resistance. Which tire size do you choose from our range?
Inner tube or tubeless: What to choose for your racing bike?
Although most cyclists still use traditional inner tubes, more and more cyclists are opting for tubeless tires. With a tubeless setup, no inner tube is used; instead, the tire is mounted directly onto a tubeless ready rim. Small holes are sealed with latex that is injected into the tire, which significantly reduces the chance of a puncture. If you do happen to get a puncture, you can always put an inner tube in the tubeless tire to get home safely. Of course, always make sure that the tire pressure is correct via the valve with a good bicycle pump .
What are the advantages and disadvantages of tubeless bicycle tires?
Tubeless tires offer lower rolling resistance and increase riding comfort because you can ride with lower air pressure. In addition, small holes are automatically sealed, which means you are less likely to get a puncture. However, tubeless tires are more difficult to mount and require more maintenance than tires with inner tubes. If you do get a flat tire due to a larger hole, it requires more work to put in an inner tube or repair it. Do you want to convert your tires to tubeless yourself? Read more here.
