Het ruwe materiaal wordt daarom voor de extractie met enorme druk door zeven filters geperst. Allebinnenbanden worden vóór het vulkaniseren in een mal gelegd en opgepompt. Alleen deze procedure waarborgt een gelijkmatige wandsterkte en een langdurige luchtdichtheid.Alle binnenbanden worden opgepompt en zo 24 uur opgeslagen om ze op luchtdichtheid te testen. Daarna wordt iedere binnenband apart zorgvuldig gecontroleerd. De fietsvakhandel weet al vele jaren de Schwalbe binnenband door zijn hoge betrouwbaarheid op waarde te schatten.Door de hoge elasticiteit en kwaliteit kan een binnenband zeer veel bandafmetingen afdekken. Binnenband groep 17 is net zo geschikt voor bandbreedte 28 mm als voor bandbreedte 47 mm. Dat is een groot voordeel voor de bevoorrading in de vakhandel.Alle ventielen zijn vernikkeld en van schroefdraad voorzien. Het ventielinzetstuk is altijd uitwisselbaar. Ook de Schwalbe binnenbanden met het Hollandse fietsventiel zijn op bandenspanning te testen en hebben een hoge drukstabiele ventielafdichting.Elke Schwalbe binnenband is 100% recyclebaar. Wij kunnen het gerecyclede butylrubber bij de productie van nieuwe binnenbanden zonder verlies van kwaliteit inzetten. Wij hebben in onze fabriek een eigen de-vulkanisatiemethode ontwikkeld. Deze methode gebruiken we al succesvol sinds vele jaren.Elke nieuwe Schwalbe standaardbinnenband bestaat voor 20% uit gerecyclede grondstof. In vergelijking tot het winnen en het transport van nieuw butyl, wordt voor recycling van binnenbanden slechts 20% aan energie verbruikt.

What is the lifespan of bicycle inner tubes?
The lifespan of bicycle inner tubes depends on various factors. What surface do you cycle on? In what conditions do you cycle? How much pressure is there in the tires? And what is your riding style? All these factors play a role. If you cycle a lot on bad road surfaces or in the rain, your tires will wear out faster. Frequent slipping or a heavier weight can also contribute to wear.

Inner tubesare available in different sizes, often with a circumference of 700x or 28" Inch. The most common width for a bicycle tire is currently 25mm, but we are seeing a trend towards wider tires. This is partly made possible by the rise of disc bikes, which offer space for wider outer tires and inner tubes in the frame. Inner tube or tubeless: What to choose for your racing bike?
Although most cyclists still use traditional inner tubes, more and more cyclists are opting for tubeless tires. With a tubeless setup, no inner tube is used; instead, the tire is mounted directly onto a tubeless ready rim. Small holes are sealed with latex that is injected into the tire, which significantly reduces the chance of a puncture. If you do happen to get a puncture, you can always put an inner tube in the tubeless tire to get home safely. Of course, always make sure that the tire pressure is correct via the valve with a good bicycle pump .
What are the advantages and disadvantages of tubeless bicycle tires?
Tubeless tires offer lower rolling resistance and increase riding comfort because you can ride with lower air pressure. In addition, small holes are automatically sealed, which means you are less likely to get a puncture. However, tubeless tires are more difficult to mount and require more maintenance than tires with inner tubes.
