This is why we have developed three versions of the Phase rim: light, base and strong. While the rim profile stays the same, the wall thickness changes. For example, if you are giving it all on rough endurotracks, we would recommend a Phase base front wheel combined with a Phase strong back wheel. As with all our NEWMEN carbon rims, we also grant a lifetime 50% crash replacement on the Phase 30 Lineup - even for second or third owners. THE SPOKES VONOA or classic steel? With Phase wheels you get to choose. Yepp, you can get these wheels with VONOA spokes. It doesn´t get much lighter: 2,8g per spoke. In total, we are able to save 40% weight while being 30% stiffer compared to conventionalspokes. This allows us to build the Phase wheels with only 24 spokes, creating the perfect balance between stiffness and comfort. At the same time, VONOA spokes are just as easy to replace and service as conventional spokes. As impressive as the VONOA spokes are, of course we have only selected the best steel spokes for our Phase wheels. Using high-end Sapim spokes in different diameters according to the intended use.
