THE RIM
6069 aluminum for the win!
In our quest to develop the perfect rim shape, we conducted impact tests and FEM analyses on more than 30 different rim profile prototypes. This resulted in the rim profile we now use on all MTB wheels.
The 30-millimeter-wide aluminum Beskar rims with their flat profile achieved the best impact resistance values in their weight classes on the test bench – both compared to the predecessor and the competition.
The combination of the thoughtful rim profile, a welded joint, and the finest aluminum results in a very durable yet lightweight rim that does not back down from any challenge.
We follow the principle of low weight at the front, high durability at the rear. That’s why we developed four versions of the Beskar rim: light, basic, strong, and DH. While the rim profile remains consistent.
