When you're exploring, having the right gear at your fingertips is important. That's why, for the Nuroad EX, we chose Shimano's gravel-specific GRX 1x12 gears – they're dependable and wide-ranging. A Newmen Performance 25 Gravel wheelset equipped with light, tough and grippy Schwalbe 45mm tyres – and Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brakes – keep you in full control, all of the time. There's a vibration-filtering, full carbon fork for ride-all-day comfort. And a full complement of rack mounts – both front and rear – makes it easy to set up your Nuroad EX for anything from the daily commute to longer tours.
Frame description To create the Nuroad FE we took inspiration from our race and cyclocross bikes, then threw a little mountain bike DNA into the mix. There's plenty of clearance for big, grippy and comfortable 45mm tyres, even with the included full-length mudguards. There's our Semi-Integrated Carrier 2.1, and we added a kickstand and a full lighting system. Neat Internal Cable Routing keeps cables out of the way, while thru-axle wheels add extra steering precision for safety and confidence, even on the roughest of roads. The full carbon fork isn't just lightweight – it also helps reduce vibration from the road and features lowrider rack mounts. And with sizes ranging from XS to XXL, it's simple to find the perfect fit.
