The applied ADDIX Green is Schwalbe's compound containing a proportion of recycled carbon black (rCB) from the Schwalbe Recycling System and renewable raw materials such as natural rubber and silica derived from rice husks. The natural rubber used comes from fair trade (Fair Rubber e.V.) and is assigned to the supply chain via mass balance, not physically to the individual tire. The modern, sporty tread pattern ensures a smooth ride on asphalt and many miles, with GreenGuard providing a 3 mm puncture protection layer underneath. The reflective stripe is ECE-R88 approved, and the E-50 certification makes it suitable and approved for speed pedelecs.
